Celebrate your peers and submit your nominations for the KCLSU Awards 2022

KCLSU Awards 2022

The KCLSU Awards are a major part of the King's calendar and celebrate the excellence of you, our students, and the extracurricular commitments you make to create the best student experience possible.

Nominations for this year's awards are currently open and this is your chance to give recognition to a person or student group that has made a huge difference to the KCLSU and King’s community.

Check out the list of 2021 winners and hear from previous award winners about what being nominated meant to them and why you should submit for this year's awards.

“Not to be nominated by an organisation but by the very people you’ve worked for all year means the world to me. I had never dreamt about being awarded for my work in any shape or form..."– Ken Besuijen, previous winner of the Student Representative of the Year Award

About the awards and ceremony

There are six main categories for the awards:

  1. KCLSU Awards
  2. Student Impact Awards
  3. Activities/Media Awards
  4. Sports Awards
  5. Crowns
  6. Colours

Check out the KCLSU Awards FAQ’s and Awards Information Pack 2022 for further information about the awards and nominations, including number of awards available and eligibility criteria. If you have any questions, you can also contact awardsseason@kclsu.org.

“For those who are unsure, it’s crucial to nominate a club, society, or an individual for the KCLSU awards as it’s a space to celebrate and thank your members. It’s not easy to balance academic workload alongside a committee role and they should be recognised for it and so should you! It’s important to the KCLSU community as it keeps people motivated to keep going."– Halim Kim, previous winner of the Silver Crown Award

To make your nominations, head to the KCLSU Awards webpage and use the nomination form to submit. You are welcome to make as many nominations as you like and the process should take no longer than a few minutes. Nominations close on Friday 1 April, so make sure to get your submissions in as soon as possible.

This year, the ceremony takes place on Thursday 31 May and will be in person for the first time since 2019! Watch the highlights from the last in person awards below and get a sneak peak at what's in store.
