Law LLB and Politics, Philosophy & Law LLB

Students from The Dickson Poon School of Law have the opportunity to switch from the three year LLB to the four year Law with a Year Abroad programme. In all cases students will spend their third year of study overseas at one of the below institutions. Please note that the application deadline for Law students is usually earlier and students should check our internal pages for our deadlines. Students currently abroad in 2022/23 will be awarded their degree title according to the region they studied at, respectively LLB English Law with Australasian Law/LLB Law with European Legal Studies/LLB Law with North American Legal Studies. For students studying abroad in 2023/24 and beyond the title of the degree will change to Law with a Year Abroad. Students on the Politics, Philosophy & Law LLB programme have the opportunity to study abroad for the full 3rd year, replacing their 3rd year with a year abroad and returning to King's for their 4th and final year. Those students can only study abroad at IE University in Madrid, Spain.
