Will participation in the Pre-University Summer School enhance my application for Undergraduate study at King's?
Applications for Undergraduate study are assessed independently by the King's Admissions team and as such no preferential advantages are given for participation in the programme. However the programme demonstrates an interest in your subject and dedication to study, that can be explored in your personal statement.
What does a typical day look like?
Student handbooks, draft timetables and first day information will be available on this page from June 2018.
Do we get free time?
During the programme there will be a few optional afternoon activities, but we encourage students to actively participate in the full programme. For those staying in accommodation there will be a mix of compulsory and optional social activities, so there will be an opportunity for students to make their own plans. If students opt out of any optional activities they will be expected to sign out, follow the code of conduct and return by the appropriate curfew.
Do I need a visa to study at the summer school?
Depending on where you are from you may need a visa to come and study with us. You can find this out by visiting this website. If you do require a visa you will need to apply for a Short Term Study Visa.

All students will be sent a visa support letter upon payment of fees. This letter will be used to apply for a visa if needed and to also show immigration upon entering the UK.
