Can I study online for Session One and Session Two?
Yes. Please state clearly on your application which modules you would like to study in which session.
How many modules am I able to study?
You can study one module per session. Each undergraduate module requires a commitment of 150 hours study time over three weeks.
Will I get credit for studying at the summer school?
Classes can often be taken for credit towards degrees at other institutions, and are examined to university standards. To receive credit for King's summer classes, contact your home institution to ask them to award external credit. Classes are typically equivalent to an undergraduate degree module and usually awarded 3-4 US credits or 7.5 ECTS.
Do I need a visa to study at the summer school?
No, our programmes are delivered online and students are not required to travel to attend.
Where are classes held?
Classes are held online through Microsoft Teams, Zoom and on-demand content is available on King’s E-learning and Teaching Service (KEATS).
What is the best way to stay in touch with the Summer Programmes team?

The Application Process
Am I eligible to apply?

I'm a mature student, can I still apply?
Yes of course! Modules are taught at undergraduate level.
What documents do I need when applying?
You will need an academic transcript from your home institution, evidence of English language proficiency and a personal statement.
How long will it take for me to get a decision on my application?
You should receive a decision in seven working days as long as you have provided us with all relevant documents. If we require more information, we will be in touch.
I've received my offer how do I confirm my place?
To confirm your place on the summer school you will need to log in to the application portal and pay your fees within 14 days of receiving your offer.
Does an offer from the summer school guarantee me a place on my preferred module?
Places on modules are allocated on a first come first served basis, so the sooner fees are paid and your place is confirmed the higher likelihood that you will be offered your chosen module. Confirmation of module will be sent to students after the application deadline.
