Pre-University Summer Society
Part of being at university is the opportunity to join a social community. University societies cover a vast range of interests and subjects from rowing to biomedical sciences, there are 100s of societies at King’s. The Summer Society gives pre-university students a first taste of what it’s like to join and be part of a society.
Social activities will be scheduled every week for students to join and have the chance to get to know other members of the society. The social activities will be scheduled in the afternoons and evenings throughout the programme and be led by current King’s students and the King’s Summer team.
We will be regularly promoting online events through our social media allowing for smaller groups within the society to meet up independently and experience London’s culture online.
Examples of previous online activities include:
Global Ice-breakers
Film Club
All About London Quiz
Global Leadership lecture series
Developing an entrepreneurial mindset course.
The Summer Society is a proactive group that offers students the opportunity to participate but we also encourage students to think of and collaborate on creating their own activities to bring to the society.
