Service Time

Everyone employed by King’s can choose to spend up to three days per year doing voluntary work for another organisation or volunteering scheme, regardless of the role you have at King’s. The time you can take to volunteer is pro-rated if you work here part-time.

Accommodation

Short term accommodation is available to King’s staff and visiting academics. The University of London Housing Services also has flats available to academics for short and long-term use.

King’s Sport & Wellness

King’s Sport & Wellness offer social sports sessions through the BeActive programme and use exercise to support mental health through the Active Wellness Scheme. Staff can also access on-demand fitness content via Les Mills+, access a dedicated sport and wellness centre and join the Guy's campus.

Choir

The Staff Choir is open to all King’s staff and no experience is necessary. We have a fantastic professional choir master who brings out the best in all our singers with songs from old classics to present day pieces.

Chaplaincy and prayer rooms

The Chaplaincy team is a pastoral resource for the whole King’s community. There are facilities for prayer and quiet reflection at all our campuses for staff of all faiths.
