Helix Self Service IT 

  • Helix is the online self-service portal, where you will be able to find answers to frequently asked questions, submit requests for assistance or report issues, and where you can monitor the progress of your existing tickets.

Password Resets and Management

Need an Affiliate Account? 

  • If you work closely with, but are not directly employed by King’s, you may be eligible for an affiliate account, which will give you access to King’s systems and resources. Find out more. 

Help with Microsoft Office 365?

  • Visit our Digital Skills Hub where you can access step-by-step guidance to become a Teams, Outlook, SharePoint superstar - and more. (internal) 

Need help with Printing, Copying or Scanning? 

Need to download software?

  • On The Hub provides a range of free software you can download to your personal device
  • If you have a King's IT managed windows device you can access the Software Center, guidance is available on our Digital Skills Hub.
  • If you have a King's IT managed Mac device you can access the Self-Service, please raise a "Software Request" via the Self-Service portal.
  • We also have the Student Virtual Desktop platform which gives students access to virtual machines with most of the software your faculties deem necessary pre-installed.

IT TechBar & IT Hub

Come and see us for in-person, on-campus IT support between 10am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. Find us in the Maughan Library, New Hunt’s House Library (closed Thursday until 1pm) and Room 2.32 of the Franklin Wilkins Building, Waterloo.
