  • In-person, on campus IT support at our TechBars between 10am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. Find us in The Maughan, New Hunt’s House and Franklin Wilkins Libraries.
  • Access to various free software such as 5 copies of Microsoft 365, to download on your personal devices.
  • Free software to support a range of work across our education, research and work at King's.

  • Free Laptop loans for up to 72 hours, Laptop loan cabinets can be found in the libraries. (Students only)

Connect to Wi-Fi

Eduroam

  • Eduroam is the official education network for King's staff, students and researchers.
  • The network is used extensively by many UK and overseas universities. 
  • All you need to login is you K number (e.g. K1234567@kcl.ac.uk) and your usual King's password.

Using Windows/ IOS/ MacOS? 

  • All you need to login is you K number (e.g. K1234567@kcl.ac.uk) and your usual King's password. 
  • If you’ve already connected a MacOS device to another institutions Eduroam network, you may need to install a new Eduroam profile from Eduroam Online. 

Accessing via Android? 

Accessing via Chromebooks? 

  • Usually all you need to login is you K number (e.g. K1234567@kcl.ac.uk) and your usual King's password. 
  • If the above does not work then please contact the service desk for further help.

The Cloud Network

  • Anyone, including King's visitors, can connect to The Cloud by simply choosing this network on their mobile device.
  • To connect go to your wifi settings on your device, select 'The Cloud' and register if not used before.

GovRoam

  • GovRoam enables visitors to King's who normally access GovRoam in their home organisations (such as other public sector institutions) to connect automatically during their time here.

Follow Me Printing allows students to print to a variety of locations across the university.

Use your King’s ID card or King’s email address. Please note there is a charge for printing.

Send your printing from your personal device by attaching your document and sending an email from your King’s account to emailprint@kcl.ac.uk

Default printing is double-sided and in black and white. To make changes to these settings, you must click on the ‘properties’ tab before you print. This may incur an additional cost.
