Social Activity at King's

BeActive is the social and recreational activity programme available to all students and staff at King’s College London.

Across our staff and student timetables, we offer over 80 activities every week to ensure that there is something out there for you.

No commitment is needed, so it’s up to you if you want to try a different activity each week or become a regular to your favourite session. All activities are non-competitive and inclusive, so everyone can participate regardless of experience or ability.

Staying Active in times of COVID

BeActive will launch for the new academic year on September 28th 2020. We have put in several measures to ensure that you can stay active and stay safe in London during the global pandemic. We are staying up to date with UK Active, Government Guidelines, National Governing Bodies, and Sport England.

We will have student activators at every class to ensure health and safety measures are adhered to and equipment is kept sanitized. It is more important than ever that we keep to our maximum class capacity, so please make sure you are booked onto all activities you wish to attend to avoid being turned away.

Additional health and safety measures:

  • Reduced class sizes
  • Social distancing
  • Outdoor activities
  • Cleaning wipes available at every session
  • Additional online classes

Please appreciate that guidelines are constantly changing, which may result in last-minute changes or cancellations to sessions.
