BeActive: Social Activity

BeActive is the social and recreational activity programme available to all students and staff at King’s College London.

Across our staff and student timetables, we offer lots of activities every week to ensure that there is something out there for you.

No commitment is needed, so it’s up to you if you want to try a different activity each week or become a regular to your favourite session.

All activities are non-competitive and inclusive, so everyone can participate regardless of experience or ability.

King's Move

Earn points and get rewarded for doing activity! King's Move is an App available to all students and staff at King's.

It lets you connect a wearable fitness tracker or an app on your phone to track your activity and earn points.

You can redeem points for rewards around campus like coffees and merchandise.

Strand

King's Sport & Wellness Strand Gym

The biggest King's Sport gym facility with a prime location in the beautiful North West Wing of Bush House, King's Sport welcomes all students, staff, alumni and King's Community members to join our new facility on the Strand.

The gym has two bespoke studios, a women's community studio, a lower ground stretch & dance space and 80 stations of resistance and cardio equipment.

King's Sport & Wellness Centre

A social space for the King's Community that offers free weekly wellness sessions. Sessions include:

Guy's

King's Sport Wellness London Bridge Gym

The gym located adjacent to Guy's Campus and is a fully equipped 80 station facility with a wide range of studio classes from Yoga to Les Mils Bodypump.

All Campuses

Our social sport and activity programme BeActive has sessions across all campuses for students and staff. It's free if you live in King's Halls. If not, then it's £35 for the year for students and £7 per month for staff.

King's Halls of Residence

If you are a King's student living in university halls of residence, BeActive Halls gives free access to all BeActive sessions and exclusive BeActive Halls sessions, run by students within halls of residence and delivered by King’s Sport. What's more is there is no need to sign up!

If you live at Great Dover Street, Stamford Street Apartments or Champion Hill you get free gym access. Check out our Halls Gyms page for more information.
