King’s Sport & Wellness are proud to present the Resi Sport & Wellness programme, offering a variety of opportunities to be active, make friends and stay well.

You can be a part of a sports, mind & body, dance or run club in the comfort of your accommodation, as well as join other resident students at events and volunteering day trips.

Big Summer BBQ
Wednesday 5 June, 14:00 – 18:00
Honor Oak Sports Ground 

We can’t wait to host a Big Summer BBQ to end the year on a high! Come together with other residence students to play some recreational sports, try out bubble football and create forever memories with many photo opportunities, all whilst feasting on a freshly prepared BBQ.

Tickets: Single £5.00    Group of 4 £16.00
Ticket includes 1 food and 1 drink voucher. 18+ only.

Resi Sport & Wellness offer a variety of opportunities to be active, make friends and stay well. You can be a part of a sports, mind & body, dance or run club in the comfort of your accommodation, as well as join other resident students at events and volunteering day trips.

Our feelings and attitudes can effect our body, which means it is equally as important to nurture our mental health as it is our physical.

Mind & Body Club will connect the two through a number of practices such as Yoga, Meditation, Pilates and Thai Chi. The instructors will take participants through a series of movements and mindfulness techniques to help you feel calm and relaxed. No experience needed.

Sports Clubs are a fantastic way to stay active whilst building strong connections with peers. Try from a variety of sports such as Dodgeball, Volleyball, Pickleball and Handball where the coach will take you through some skills and drills before getting into friendly matches.

Dance not only improves physical health, but also contributes to brain health such as memory and focus. This club is a completely judgement free zone. Participants will practice foundations and fundamentals of the chosen dance style before learning a short and fun routine each week.

Elevate your fitness with our Gym Circuit Training – a dynamic workout designed to boost strength, agility, and endurance. Get ready for a focused, full-body session that maximises results and keeps you motivated. Open to all levels.

Strength & Balance is a mat based workout, using a mixture of body weight, resistance band and core glider exercises to work the whole body. Aimed to tone and sculpt but most importantly leave you feeling energized and motivated! Open to all levels.

An opportunity to invest in your wellbeing. Wellness Wednesdays allow you to take time out to be in the present moment and connect with the outdoors and local community.

Move for Good combines doing good for the community with being physically active. Examples include beach clean ups, transporting donations to food banks or litter picking whilst out on a walk or run.
