Biography

Edmund Gordon joined King’s in September 2012 as Lecturer in Creative Writing.  He was educated at Trinity College Dublin (BA) and University College London (MA). Edmund's essays and reviews appear frequently in the London Review of Books and the Times Literary Supplement, as well as in a variety of national newspapers, including the Guardian, Observer and Sunday Times. In December 2012 Edmund was a recipient of the annual Royal Society of Literature and Jerwood Charitable Foundation's award for authors engaged on their first major commissioned works of non-fiction (an authorised biography of Angela Carter).

Research interests and PhD supervision

Edmund is currently writing an authorised biography of Angela Carter, which will be published by Chatto & Windus in 2016.

Edmund welcomes applications for PhD topics related to any of his research interests.
