Training for staff

Mental Health Training

The Counselling & Mental Health Support Team provide Mental Health training for staff. 

We also deliver online and in person MHFA Mental Health Awareness half day training Become Mental Health Aware · MHFA England and Become a Mental Health First Aider · MHFA England which we organise directly with departments and teams.

We offer this to 16- 25 staff for each training. 

This course can be delivered online or in-person in 4 linked modules or over 2 days (Mental Health First Aider course).

Bespoke mental health training for faculties

We also offer workshops and training hours for teams around specific topics which may be impacting your staff.

We can also attend  Faculty Team Meetings for a brief Q&A session.
