Toju is a doctoral candidate with the African Leadership Centre at King's College London. His research focuses on the linkage between leadership and communication in the context of terrorism. Specifically, Toju is interested in exploring how communications by state leaders shape the leader-follower dynamics in the immediate aftermath of a terrorist attack.
Prior to joining King's College London, Toju worked in communications consulting for over 15 years across the Middle East, Africa and the UK. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and an MBA from the University of Benin, Nigeria. He also holds a master's degree in Marketing Communications from Bournemouth University, UK.
