Amazon Web Services are offering two MA Government Studies studentships to support students to progress to postgraduate study. Applications are particularly welcome from underrepresented groups.

Award details

The scholarship(s) will be worth £25,284, available as a full contribution of tuition fees. Successful applicants are encouraged to get involved in the activities of the Policy Institute – for example, by attending events – and there will be further work experience opportunities, to be confirmed in due course.

The deadline for submissions is 10  June 2024. Interviews will take place in the week commencing 17th June, with final decisions being sent to students on 21 June. The successful candidates will then be invited to apply for the MA in Government Studies.

Application process

  • Submission of personal statement which should demonstrate financial need and the impact receiving this bursary will have on them/their career and interest in British government and politics.

  • Shortlisted applicants will then be invited to interview, which will be conducted by a panel convened by the Policy Institute.
