Ambassador Zamir Akram will provide an overview of the challenges faced by Pakistan as a result of outstanding disputes with its Eastern neighbour that have been further compounded because of its involvement in the ongoing war on terrorism, and India's efforts to maintain pressure by supporting proxy war inside the Pakistan and through regular exchange of fire along the Line of Control.
