Welcome to new IoP students!

This week sees the start of enrolment for over 600 new students at the Institute of Psychiatry (IoP) at King's College London.

Professor Susan Lea, Vice Dean (Education) for the IoP, said: ‘Enrolment is always an exciting time of year at the Institute and there’s always a real buzz about the place.  This year we’re especially proud to welcome our students here as they will be amongst the first to benefit from the Education Hub development and the newly refurbished IoP Library.  Students will be undertaking their studies in a state-of-the-art environment, with our facilities now matching the culture of educational excellence which has always been a feature of the Institute of Psychiatry’.

Enrolment is taking place in the main IoP building.  Student ambassadors will be on hand to help with enrolment and wayfinding for new students – but do take the time to greet new students and offer help if necessary.

This year we are offering two School induction events for our taught students.  An induction for international students is being run on the morning of Monday 23rd September in the Robin Murray Lecture Theatre (international research students are also very welcome to attend).

The full induction for all taught students (including international ones) is being run on the afternoon of Monday 23rd September from 2pm in the Wolfson Lecture Theatre.

A separate induction event for postgraduate research students is being arranged for Thursday 3rd October.

Details of all induction events can be found at the link below:
