Professor Wintemute: Russia's 'propaganda law' calls for pressure

Professor Wintemute’s article examines Russia’s new ‘propaganda law’ which is going in the opposite direction of recent laws passed in France, England and Wales, which are permitting same-sex couples to marry. Professor Wintemute says Russia’s anti-gay crackdown calls for pressure from the UN, Europe and the UK, but Britain must ‘sweep its doorstep’ first by granting some prisoners the right to vote.
