Impact

King's Business School is dedicated to addressing business and societal challenges through responsible, rigorous, inclusive, innovative, and socially relevant research. The School was highlighted in recent Research Excellence Framework evaluation in 2021 as being the fourth best research environment for business and management studies in the UK, with 90.3 per cent of research being 'world leading' and 'internationally excellent'.

The research impact case studies highlighted below show how King’s Business School is influencing policy and practice, ranging from education and training, to healthcare, personal effectiveness at work, and finance.

There are major challenges facing the world – from climate change and new digital technologies to advancing equality and inclusive business models. Solutions require a new research approach which we are trailblazing at King’s. It requires working closely with businesses, governments, trade unions, policy bodies and civil society organisations. It also means embracing open forms of collaboration on research ideas and engaging with diverse partners to produce real impact.
