Since our launch as a Business School in 2017, our research community has grown and flourished. Our work spans the disciplines of management, business, economics and finance and embraces King’s ambition ‘to make the world a better place’.
Over 90 per cent of King’s Business School’s research output has been judged ‘world leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’ by the 2021 Research Excellence Framework. The School was one of the ten highest scoring institutions for business and management studies overall and ranks fourth on its research environment.
Driven by this strong sense of purpose, our five strategic research themes address some of society’s grand challenges:
Digitalisation: Reshaping Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Global Business for a Sustainable World
Governance, Risk and Regulation
Rethinking the Future of Work, Public Services and Business
Reducing Social and Economic Inequalities.
