Introduction to Digital Education at King's (Beginner)

Description:

New to King’s or keen to know more about how to support and enhance Digital Education? This online lunchtime session will provide a brief overview of the core Digital Education tools (e.g. KEATS/Moodle, Kaltura, Echo 360); the availability of other technologies (e.g. Poll Everywhere, Padlet) and the support and guidance available throughout the college.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the session, participants will have:

  • Identified the key decisions needed to plan an engaging online module for students, which includes opportunities for active learning.
  • Evaluated how well some examples of learning activities would suit their own context.
  • Generated some of their own ideas for learning activities.
