Focused Festivals

We've adapted our careers fairs into a new innovative offer for 2020-21 with our new sector-specific focused festivals providing an even greater variety of options to engage our audience and build your brand through virtual activity, which continues to place direct student interaction at its heart.

You'll be able to host a virtual stand, online content and arrange timings for students and recent alumni to meet with your representatives with the latter scheduled around your own commitments. This means you can also invite colleagues across your organisation to meet with King's talent and manage your resource as efficiently as possible.

We're also inviting employers to engage in a variety of associated virtual delivery throughout the Festivals, including:

King's College London is has an outstanding reputation for the study and research of Law, ranked fourth nationally and top fifteen globally (QS, 2020).

Our Focus on Law event remains one of the largest of its type in the country, providing unparalleled direct access to our students and recent alumni whether they are studying law or another discipline.

The Festival welcomes:

  • Solicitors and Corporate Firms
  • Barristers and Chambers
  • In-house Legal
  • Associated Legal Services

The event is targeted at penultimate year students and finalists though also attracts a number of first years seeking information on insight days and postgraduates seeking training contracts or experienced entry.

Historically, this event has attracted an equal mix of Law and non-law students and attendees will expect to meet with representatives from recruitment as well as representatives from the Firm or Chambers. As a virtual event, it's also a fantastic way to build the presence of your international offices or specific streams for LLM candidates, and we encourage employers to consider hosting specific interventions as part of their package focused on these areas.

We're keen to partner with firms keen to deliver specific educational workshops across a range of topics and discuss how the legal sector is adapting, in a similar capacity to our former Legal Week activity – you'll be able to express your interest in the booking form.

Review our main Focused Festivals page for details on what your booking includes, why we've changed our offer.

Attendees from all three stages will be attending our Festivals so you will get a variety of question based on which stage they are at. These questions may be related to the following way we are promoting our events to students.
