PhD and MSc degrees

We offer supervision for PhD research degrees relating to Brazil, as well as academic expertise from a range of disciplinary departments across King's. 

Supervision may be provided from within the Institute or jointly with other staff at King's. There is also an option of a joint PhD with another university.   

We also offer studying Brazil within the Global Affairs MSc, which allows you to explore the politics, society, economics, and history of one of the world's most influential non-western, regional, and rising powers. This focus will help you comprehend its significant role within the changing world order. 

The Global Affairs MSc doesn't just limit you to Brazil. You'll also examine the dynamics of other non-western regions and emerging powers, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the global political landscape

Qualification(s): PhD 
Duration: Expected to be PhD three years FT, four-six years PT. Normal start date September but students may commence at other times by arrangement.

PhD Brazilian Studies Research from the Brazil Institute at King's College London.
