KIASS offers MA programmes (also available as PGDip and PGCert), which aim to provide students with cutting edge understanding of contemporary issues in international affairs, defence and security.

These are delivered flexibly in order to fit around work and life commitments, through a unique carousel learning system that allow individuals to study at their own pace.

 

Security Studies MA, PGDip and PGCert

This is a new flexible programme for professionals, which allows you to study alongside your existing work commitments to enhance your career prospects and further your personal and professional development. It is designed to expand your knowledge of defence, security, war and conflict studies while building towards a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert), Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) or Masters qualification.

International Affairs MA

The MA in International Affairs, with specialisms in Cyber Security, Espionage & Surveillance Studies, and Strategic Studies, provides an advanced and comprehensive understanding of the complex world of contemporary international relations and politics. Introducing students to the history, international relations, strategic and political theory that surrounds the world’s most intricate security challenges.

Global Security MA

The MA in Global Security, provides an in-depth understanding of security in relation to contemporary issues, such as, pandemics, immigration and threats to biodiversity, as well as deterrence and new forms of war. It also seeks to strengthen practical skills using case studies and real-world scenarios, including mock policy papers, podcasts and debates.
