Pharmaceutical Medicine is the scientific discipline for the discovery, development, evaluation, registration, monitoring and medical marketing of medicines for the benefit of patients and the public.
King’s College London offers a suite of two master’s programmes in Pharmaceutical Medicine:
These MSc programmes are designed for healthcare professionals or scientists who are working in, or planning to work in, the field of clinical drug development.
The modular programmes cover all aspects of the clinical development process, from early studies to post-marketing activities. They will enhance your knowledge and skills in clinical research, drug regulation and drug safety. You will also have the opportunity to undertake a research project applying skills learnt during the course.
Completion of one of these MSc Programmes is expected to open up new job opportunities within clinical research.
The individual modules offered in the MSc programmes are also available as short professional courses. Completion of a combination of these courses can lead to award of a Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma.
