About Lili

Lili Cui graduated from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University (China) and got her master degree in Pharmaceutics (2010). She was awarded a KORS scholarship in 2011 and is supervised by Professor Jayne Lawrence and Professor Alethea Tabor in the Department of Chemistry, UCL.

Her research focuses on synthesizing branched peptides, constructing novel gene delivery vehicles and investigating their interaction with biological membranes with the help of a variety of advanced techniques including light/neutron scattering, circular dichroism, fluorescence/electron microscopy and optical tweezers.  

Dr Cui completed her PhD in 2015 and has taken up a position as Formulation Scientist with Silence Therapeutics.
