Dr Yussif Saaka

Yussif was born in Accra, Ghana and began his undergraduate study at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2005, reading for a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. He spent one year as an intern Pharmacist at the KorleBu Teaching Hospital, after which he enrolled on the MSc. AS:MIT program at the University of Warwick. With an interest sparked by his masters project with Dr. Matthew Gibson, Yussif’s work focuses on enhancing the aqueous solubility of poorly water soluble drugs, under the supervision of Professors Jayne Lawrence and Gino Martini.
