Undergraduate

Our students learn from world-leading researchers and scientists. We are passionate about developing the next generation of researchers, scientists, clinicians, and neuroscience leaders. Students are supported to become independent thinkers and researchers, learning key skills for life. Neuroscience is an exciting and modern discipline that seeks to understand the most complex structure in the body - the nervous system.

At King's, we study the whole nervous system - from molecules to mind, providing a broad-based curriculum that covers developmental, clinical and psychological aspects of neuroscience. The BSc Neuroscience and Psychology is led by Yannis Paloyelis, based in our world-leading Neuroimaging Department within the School of Neuroscience. Our other undergraduate neuroscience courses are led by Jon Robbins, Head of the Department of Neuroscience Education, which spans both the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience and the Faculty of Life Science & Medicine.

In 2019, 94% of King's students were satisfied with their course in the National Student Survey.

Our students benefit from:

  • Support to become independent thinkers and researchers
  • Outstanding career, networking and mentoring opportunities
  • Learning from world-leading academics
  • Strong partnerships with the NHS
  • World-class research and study facilities
