Biography
Dr Anna Zampetaki is a lecturer in Cardiovascular Biology. Dr Zampetaki’s group focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms involved in vascular injury and repair with a particular emphasis in metabolism. Rewiring of metabolic pathways is a key trigger of vascular dysfunction and the integration of regenerative medicine/ iPS cells, organoid technologies and gene editing systems can offer unique insights and reveal novel therapeutic targets.
Research

Zampetaki Lab
The Zampetaki Lab investigates the molecular and cellular basis of vascular remodelling.

From Developmental Biology to Regenerative Medicine
Understanding organ development and tissue regeneration provides a framework for elucidating disease mechanisms as well as for developing new therapeutics.
News
