A qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer since 2012, Darius is an experienced fitness and wellness coach with a wide-ranging knowledge base.
Specialising in one-to-one coaching, he is focused on helping people to improve their well-being through exercise. Starting out as a running coach before moving into gym-based training, he can work with bodyweight or utilize all strength equipment as required.
TRX, kettlebells and other functional training techniques are his favourites to use on the gym floor. Darius has a well-rounded approach to training and feels it is important to develop cardiovascular fitness alongside strength, core stability and flexibility.
A qualification in sports nutrition has helped him to understand that what we eat is just as important as physical exercise when it comes to achieving our fitness goals. Darius spent four months studying yoga in India in 2016.
During this time he worked with two excellent teachers, developing his own practise and gaining a Hatha Yoga teacher qualification. This specialist skill is now incorporated into his coaching, helping those he works with to improve their mobility, mindset and overall sense of well-being in everyday life.
