The FCDO International Development Policy Practitioners Programme is a specialist course developed and delivered in collaboration with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
Designed for FCDO policy practitioners working in international development roles, the programme builds fluency across international development theory, evidence use, and practical policymaking.
Over eight weeks of online learning, including a live webinar each week, participants engage with key topics including development finance, climate and development, anti-corruption, decolonisation, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
I really liked the combination of the academic/theoretical learning with the more practically focused discussions, and the policy challenge work. My policy challenge is a real one for my team at present, and I found it really valuable to take the learnings from across the weeks and apply them to this challenge.
