We’re delighted to share the news that digital degree certificates are now available for all King’s undergraduate and postgraduate taught students who graduated after 1 July 2025.
This joint initiative, launched by KCLSU and delivered by King’s Examinations and Assessments team, will make it easier for you to verify your credentials with other higher education institutions or employers.
If you graduated in July 2025, you should have received an email notifying that you can now access, view and securely share a digital version of your certificate through your Gradintelligence account.
For future award dates, digital certificates will typically be viewable around four weeks after the date of your results email confirming your award. You will be notified as soon as your digital certificate is ready to view.
The introduction of digital certificates marks a significant improvement to the student experience for King’s international graduates, who have previously faced delays in receiving their physical certificates.
KCLSU president Baiyu Liu said: "The introduction of digital degree certificates is a landmark moment for King’s and our students.
“For too long, many graduates, particularly from our international community, have faced challenges meeting urgent job application deadlines and civil service examination requirements while waiting for physical certificates to be shipped. This achievement reflects a university that listens to its students and works in true partnership with the Students’ Union.
“It has been a privilege working with university staff, who displayed great enthusiasm, patience and clear communication. I would like to commend colleagues across King’s, as well as the Chinese Students’ and Scholars’ Association [CSAA], whose dedication has ensured this accomplishment is delivered in time to benefit this year's graduating cohort."
Speaking on behalf of CSSA, the society president Yi “Joey” Zhou said: “Two years ago, the Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) first learned that Chinese students couldn’t receive their graduate certificate digitally due to delays at King’s.
“Since we submitted an appeal, King’s have taken proactive efforts to deliver the introduction of digital certificates which will benefit the Chinese community greatly. CSSA is proud to have played a key role in making it happen”
