Boost your CV with the sustainability online module and join the team behind the scenes

Want to boost your knowledge of sustainability and make your CV stand out? Then the KEATS Sustainability module from the Take Action team is what you‘re looking for!

This online, open-access, interdisciplinary module will introduce you to some of the biggest topics in sustainability, including climate change, social justice, sustainable business and how sustainability is relevant to your degree and future career goals.

The latest section to be released on biodiversity gives you answers to the following questions and more: What is the largest threat driving the world's species to extinction? What is an invasive alien species? 

Join the Take Action team

Would you like to develop organisational and teamwork skills, and shape sustainable education first-hand? There is an opportunity for you to join the Take Action team! Email if you are interested in getting involved, whether this is to develop content for the module, to help embed the assessment for next year, or anything else you might want to gain experience in. 

By signing up, you will test the sustainability module currently being developed by an amazing team of students, staff and alumni, and shape the module with your feedback and ideas. A seminar series with an exciting agenda of speakers accompanies the module.

Over 500 students and staff are enrolled on the module and about 80 have completed it already. The final deadline to complete the module this year is 12 June. So time to get cracking: enrol via KEATS today.

Sustainability seminar series

The team are also hosting a seminar series throughout the academic year covering some of the biggest topics in sustainability. Learn more about climate science, justice, sustainable agriculture and much more from seminal speakers in the field.

Through these monthly 90-minute sessions, you will get the opportunity to fully engage with the subject in the breakout room discussions and Q&As with the speaker.  Sign up to stay in the loop about the series.
