Volunteers’ Week, which runs from the 1 to 7 June, is an annual celebration to mark the contribution that millions of people make across the UK through volunteering. 

This Volunteers' Week, King's Volunteering are running two events to help you discover new opportunities and support your local community. 

Volunteers' brunch and St Mary Le Strand visit

Wednesday 7 June 2023, 11.00–12.45

Old Committee Room (K2.30), King's Building, Strand Campus 

We’ll hear from the King’s Volunteering team, and there will be an opportunity to meet with students and staff volunteers from across King's. At midday, we’ll walk over to King’s Volunteering partner, St Mary Le Strand, to discover the church itself and what it’s like to volunteer there.

Connecting with charities: Empowering people through technology

Thursday 8 June 2023, 12.00–13.00

King’s Volunteering welcome community partners Fulham Good Neighbours and Brightside who are working to build a digitally inclusive world, by empowering and enabling marginalised communities to engage with technology.
