If you love studying at King's, you'll want to get involved. You will receive training and support throughout your time as a student ambassador and we offer payment for all work undertaken, in line with the London Living Wage or higher. Plus, we do our best to make the programme enjoyable and a valuable work experience to impress your future employers. You'll also receive:
A programme of training and skills development throughout the year
Continued access to ambassador jobs up to a year after you graduate
A reference upon leaving the ambassador programme
Ideally, you'll be passionate about King's and eager to share your best uni experiences with prospective students, overseas visitors and school leavers. Ambassadors are often asked to:
Deliver campus tours
Help out with open days and other on-campus events
Give presentations in schools and colleges
Represent King's at HE Fairs

Interviews for these roles will take place on 17, 18, 19 and 20 October 2017 at the Strand campus.
All successful interview candidates will be required to attend compulsory training on 25 October 2017 to be given an ambassador position. Additionally, you may be required to attend role-specific training held at a later date.

Visiting your former school or college?
We would welcome students who are thinking of visiting their former school or college to represent King’s by delivering a presentation about life at King’s to prospective students. The presentation may focus on your own personal experiences of studying at King’s, as well as the subject you are studying.
Why return to your former school or college?
Through this experience, you will develop transferrable skills that are valued by employers, such as communications skills and public speaking. It provides you with an opportunity to share your experiences and the lessons you have learnt with students who are considering following in your footsteps.
Who are we looking for?
Anyone is welcome to represent King’s. All we ask is that you are an enthusiastic undergraduate or postgraduate student who is enjoying your time here and are interested in returning to your former school or college, or a UK school where you have a close link.
For international students, it may be possible arrange visits to your former schools during holidays when you return to your home country. However, we would only be able to reimburse reasonable local travel in your country, and not flights from the UK.
What is available?
The work is voluntary but expenses for local travel to any school in the UK will be reimbursed through the provided expenses claim form. Please note that this opportunity is dependent on your school agreeing to host you.
How to take part?
If you are visiting your former school or college for any reason, please don’t hesitate to contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org. We would be more than happy to support you by providing presentation templates and advice on content, as well as equipment and literature.
