Students who select a Residential Package on the Pre-University Summer School will stay in our central Stamford Street Apartments, located immediately opposite campus.
Early application is strongly advised due to the popularity of our accommodation. Places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis and students will be allocated a room once full payment of residential fees have been made.
The residential package includes:
An individual en suite room (private room with connected private bathroom)
Shared fridge (Students will not be provided with a mini-fridge in their rooms, as the residences operate according to high sustainability standards)Your bed linen (duvet, duvet cover, pillow, pillowcase and bed sheet)
A communal self-catering kitchen with cooking facilities including cooker and microwave (please note utensils, plates and cutlery are not provided but can be bought relatively cheaply in the local area )
Social programme (see below)
24-hour Summer Programmes staffing and dedicated pastoral ambassador (Under 18 students only)
All Pre-University students will be housed within a single gender flat. There is no mixed gender accommodation.
All accommodation options have a 24-hour security desk, a central common room with TV, on-site laundry facilities, WiFi connectivity (including 4Mb in room internet access), CCTV cameras and secure door entry systems.
Check-in will be from the morning on the first Monday of the summer school session you are attending and check-out will be before 15:00 on the last Friday of the session you are attending.
Due to our safeguarding policy, please note that students who are 18 and over will be housed separately. King’s College London is not responsible for the supervision of these students at the accommodation and outside timetabled academic activities, however students will have 24-hour access to summer programmes staff if required.
For Pre-University Summer School, the Residential Package includes a welcome meal on the first Monday night. On other evenings you will be free to sample the delights of London's diverse choice of restaurants.
