Will I get credit for completing the summer school?
The Pre-University Summer School is not credit bearing. Each student will receive a Record of Achievement at the end of the programme. This is awarded for the completion of a group presentations and an individual written assignment.
Will participation in the Pre-University Summer School enhance my application for Undergraduate study at King's?
Applications for undergraduate study are assessed independently by the King's Admissions team and as such no preferential advantages are given for participation in the programme. However the programme demonstrates an interest in your subject and dedication to study that can be explored in your personal statement.
What does a typical day look like?
Student handbooks, draft timetables and first day information will be available on this page from June 2020.
Do I need a visa to study at the summer school?
No, our programmes are delivered online and students are not required to travel to attend.
What is the best way to stay in touch with the Summer Programmes team?

What documents do I need when applying?
You will need an academic transcript with your most recent high school grades, a personal statement and evidence of English language proficiency.
How long will it take for me to get a decision on my application?
You should receive a decision in seven working days as long as you have provided us with all relevant documents. If we require more information, we will be in touch.
I've received my offer how do I confirm my place?
To confirm your place on the summer school, please log in to the application portal and pay your fees.
Does an offer from the summer school guarantee me a place on my preferred course?
Places on courses are allocated on a first come first served basis, so the sooner fees are paid and your place is confirmed the higher likelihood that you will be offered your chosen course. Confirmation of courses will be published after the application deadline.
When will I receive a timetable?
A detailed timetable for each course will be available on King’s E-learning and Teaching Service (KEATS) from June 2020. You will be given instructions on how to access this once you have confirmed your place.
