Pre-University Summer School in Hong Kong

15 - 19 July 2019

The King’s Pre-University Summer School in Hong Kong is held at our hosting partner school; Singapore International School (Hong Kong). This programme is for 15 – 18 year old students and provides a unique experience of university teaching from one of the UK’s leading universities. Students will gain knowledge of university subjects and what it is like to be taught at university level in the UK.

The King’s Pre-University Summer School in London is the largest university taught programme for high school students of its kind in the UK. To bring this unique teaching experience to Hong Kong, we have partnered with Singapore International School (Hong Kong).

King’s College London teachers will fly from London to Hong Kong to teach on the programme so that students experience the British way of teaching and learning. Students will also have the opportunity to attend special sessions on the British university application process.

The programme will take place at our hosting partner Singapore International School (Hong Kong). It is a non-residential programme and will run from 15 - 19 July 2019.

We are offering two sessions, and students can choose up to two courses to run consecutively. Our courses have space for a maximum of 25 students to guarantee an excellent quality experience for each student. These are offered on a first come basis so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Who is this for?

The programme is aimed at students aged 15 - 18 who want a taste of what to expect at University, experience the British way of teaching and learn more about their chosen course. All courses on the programme have been developed for a pre-university audience. After completion of a course students will receive a King’s certificate of participation.
