My name is Andy. I am an artist, writer and curator based in London. I have been creating performance work on my own and with a range of collaborators since 2007.

I arrived at King’s College with a lot of vague ideas about wanting to make theatre and little sense of why or how I might do so. The city seemed so big and so impenetrable.

Studying with Alan Read was an invitation to think in unpredictable and exhilarating ways about theatre as an artform and the place it occupies in this bewildering city and the wider world beyond it.

Through my time at King’s I learnt a way of thinking about theatre and through theatre that is responsible not just for the work that I do today, but for the way in which I see and understand the world around me.

For that I am incredibly grateful.
