Taught Courses

Study for your master's degree with our dynamic English Department here at King’s, one of the largest and oldest English departments in the UK.

Our postgraduate students can choose courses and modules from a selection that covers more than a thousand years of literary history, from medieval to contemporary times.

Here you will be taught by staff who are rich in professional experience, including distinguished poets, novelists and theatrical practitioners with expertise covering an amazing range of topics and authors.

Two of our master’s courses are taught together with experts from the British Library (Early Modern English MA) and Shakespeare’s Globe (Shakespeare Studies MA), meaning that you will benefit from learning not only from experts in their field at King’s but also from experts based in our prestigious partner organisations.
