Hosting an Event or Lecture

Hosting an Event

The Department of Informatics at King’s College London welcomes event proposals from external organisations that will be of benefit to our students.

We have been involved with the Samsung bada Challenge, the Microsoft Imagine Cup, Windows Phone Workshop and Graduate Developer Community events including a Lego XP Game and "Meet a Mentor". We have also hosted guest lectures from Bloomberg, Monad Solutions, Deutsche Bank and Deloitte.

Organisations that are interested in hosting an event should complete this form (Word, 132 KB) and email it to us at  nms-careers@kcl.ac.uk; subject header ‘Technical Workshop/Lecture’. We will aim to respond to get back to you within 5 days to discuss your requirements further.

Interested parties should contact us as far in advance of the proposed event or lecture as possible. This is to enable us to schedule events at appropriate times of year, to fit lecture topics in with teaching schedules and to have enough time to successfully promote your events to our students.
