Faraz Mujtaba, MSci Student
I chose King's because it is a leading international University with one of the biggest Computer Science departments in London. King's is a large multidisciplinary university, and this was important to me because it encourages a diverse student body. It is involved in cutting edge research; my Final Year Project was on Cloud Computing, an area in which King's is involved in a €5 million European research programme.
During my time at King's, I served as Vice-President of the Computing Society and sat on the committee for the St. John's Ambulance University unit. I have been involved in various five-a-side football competitions, and been a member of several other societies. Involvement with the Student Union (KCLSU) is something I feel is a real differentiating factor between graduates. KCLSU offers unique opportunities to engage in sports and social activities and is also part of the University of London, the biggest Student Union in Europe, so there is a real variety of stuff to do!
King's academic reputation has helped me secure summer internships with leading international firms such as Ernst & Young and Credit Suisse. I will be joining Credit Suisse as a Project Manager in Technology when I graduate.
