Society, Culture & Law

The Society, Culture & Law (SC&L) theme works across a range of disciplines with a number of academic staff, postgraduate researchers and early-career researchers across the School of Security Studies.

SC&L incorporates the work of the various research centres that sit under the theme umbrella, including King’s Centre for Strategic Communications, the Centre for Military Ethics, and the War Crimes Research Group, combining an excitingly eclectic range of expertise.

We function as an inclusive community for research collaboration and knowledge exchange, facilitated through weekly gatherings, panel discussions or presentations.
