About us

Answering fundamental questions about biology in health and disease

We apply this to the development of innovative clinical practice, alongside providing a rigorous academic programme for students.

Our research investigates human health at all resolutions, from the molecular mechanisms underlying disease to clinical trials and medical applications.

Based at Guy’s and Denmark Hill campuses with over 450 staff, we educate the next generation of researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals. Our academic programme of research-enhanced teaching, consultancy and clinical practice is embedded across our five departments.

Development, diversity and inclusion

We are passionate about embedding development, diversity and inclusion into every part of our the School. To do this, we have a School DD&I committee who have implemented an action plan which identifies two priority areas; work flexibility and family-friendly services and career development and training.

Let's talk about EDI

The School DDI team has launched a podcast, 'Let's talk about EDI', bringing you thought-provoking and interesting conversations around equality, diversity and inclusion in research and education.
