Course directors
Professor Dana Minbaeva is a Professor of Human Resource Management at King's Business School. Her research on strategic international HRM has appeared in top international journals such as Academy of Management Review, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Human Resource Management, and many others. Dana has published over 70 articles in international peer reviewed journals, as well as numerous book chapters and reports. She received several national and international awards to research achievements, including the prestigious JIBS Decade Award 2013. She is the Fellow of the Academy of International Business (AIB).
Dana is actively involved in the MBA and executive teaching at various European business schools. Previously, she has taught in Denmark, Kazakhstan, Russia, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, Finland and Germany as well as having held visiting research positions in Ireland, Australia and Canada. Dana is a founder and research partner of Nordic Human Capital Advisory ApS.
Dr Joaquin Azpilicueta, MD, Cardiologist, MBA, has over 30 years in the medical devices sector in executive positions building and expanding international markets and businesses and delivering profitable growth and shareholders value. These positions include P&L management, sales management of direct and distributors sales teams, talent management, medical affairs and key opinion leader (KOL) management, market access and market development, strategic planning for new product launch and geographic expansion.
Joaquin obtained his MD degree at the University of Navarra in Spain, in 1979 and specialized in Cardiology at the University Clinic of Navarra (CUN). He thereafter practiced as a cardiologist in several public and private institutions, with focus on non-invasive cardiology techniques and intensive care.
