Arts & Digital Ideas Lab

In 2013, King's College London, supported by the university's Culture team, collaborated with the digital creative agency Caper on an Arts & Digital Ideas Lab across four projects:

Inkvisible explored the use of an interactive digital graffiti tool in order to create an innovative space through which audiences can interact with, and express a critical voice about, their engagement with art and art institutions.

The CultureMe app asked the question, 'What about using the same information used to target advertisements for a positive purpose: to show Facebook users something new and unknown that they might find interesting, fun, or diverting?'

Robotic Glove investigated if there is a way in which museum visitors can ‘touch’ objects that are too precious to be handled.

The People’s Republic of You explored a new way for audiences at home to engage with live performance.
