Postgraduate taught

We attract the best and brightest students from across the world to come and study with us at King’s. We currently have over 200 master’s students from more than 30 different countries, making us one of the largest and most international departments around.

Our students are at the heart of our teaching effort. All of our teaching staff are actively involved in research, which ensures that our taught modules are informed by the very latest work in the field. Our various master’s courses are also closely tied into the work of our research groups.

Continue at the School of Global Affairs, Postgraduate Bursaries

Twelve awards of £2,000 are available for King's graduates for September 2024 entry onto one of our in-person master's courses within the School of Global Affairs.

 
Relevant courses:

Only King's students in their final year of undergraduate courses in the School of Global Affairs are eligible, irrespective of whether they are from the UK, EU or overseas. Applying to a relevant in-person master's course.

We will identify our top candidates based on previous academic performance, relevant experience (where appropriate) and the personal statement. We welcome applications from students able to demonstrate their potential to succeed on their chosen programme. The university may use contextual information to gain a more complete picture of their individual and educational context.

The award is a one-off bursary payment. Applicants should ensure that they have sufficient means to cover the tuition fees, as well as maintenance costs. To be offered the award, you must also meet the following criteria: (a) accept King’s offer of a place as your firm choice and pay the deposit; (b) meet the conditions of your offer (if you firmly accept an unconditional offer you are automatically deemed to have met the conditions of your offer); and (c) enrol as a student on the appropriate course.

Five scholarships, valued at £5000 per student, are available as a partial contribution towards tuition fees for the online MSc International Development programme

Five scholarships, valued at £5000 per student, are available as a partial contribution towards tuition fees for the online MSc International Development programme. The deadline for submissions is 14 June 2024. Interviews, if deemed necessary, will take place shortly afterwards.

Applicants must have accepted an offer of a place on the MSc International Development programme.

1. A personal statement which should demonstrate:     a) financial need, and b) the impact receiving this scholarship will have on you/your career (500 words maximum); 2. Curriculum Vitae (two pages maximum).
