morgan-schodelmeier150Just by virtue of being at a world-class university in the heart of London, but also because I gained so many transferable skills, I was able to further explore the links between politics and economics, take modules in many different subjects, and learn from amazing lecturers. Overall, my MA experience afforded me so many opportunities that I would never have had otherwise and led me to my current career in a Westminster think tank.

I can honestly say the IPE programme at King’s has put me on the path I am now.

I think the diversity of the IPE programme is one of its biggest strengths. First, there are plenty of modules to choose from, so everyone is able to take courses in the things they love and also things they might not have explored before. This allows all of the students to customise their own experience and make the most of what King’s has to offer. Second, the programme itself is very international, with students coming from all over the world. Not only did this lead me to challenge my perspectives, but also led to lasting friendships with incredible people from around the world.

Finally, I would not have been able to succeed in this programme without the support of amazing lecturers and supervisors. Whenever I had trouble understanding - or even flat-out disagreed with - certain topics there was always someone there to talk me through a concept or debate fundamentals with. It really made a difference having lecturers that cared about your opinions and were willing to discussing anything and everything.
