Focused Festivals

We've adapted our careers fairs into a new innovative offer for 2020-21 with our new sector-specific focused festivals providing an even greater variety of options to engage our audience and build your brand through virtual activity, which continues to place direct student interaction at its heart.

You'll be able to host a virtual stand, online content and arrange timings for students and recent alumni to meet with your representatives with the latter scheduled around your own commitments. This means you can also invite colleagues across your organisation to meet with King's talent and manage your resource as efficiently as possible.

We're also inviting employers to engage in a variety of associated virtual delivery throughout the Festivals, including:

Combining expertise across dynamic industries from software development and cyber-security to electronics and data science, our refreshed Festival is your flagship opportunity to engage our students.

Held early in the autumn term, this event is open to all disciplines interested in discovering a range of roles including:

  • Artificial intelligence
  • Cyber-security
  • Data science and analytics
  • Electrical, computer and chemical engineering
  • Geophysics, energy and geological exploration
  • Robotics
  • Software development and engineering
  • Telecommunications, mobile and internet technology

The Festival is a showcase of the variety of options available, equipping students with the ability to ask questions and help focus their career thinking, as well as aide those who have a clear idea of wishing to pursue a career in a related job role.

We're keen to partner with employers keen to deliver specific educational workshops across a range of topics and discuss how the sector or their business is adapting in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and across other adaptations in the digital and technological space – you'll be able to express your interest in the booking form.

King’s is consistently ranked among the top three London universities for STEM disciplines, teaching Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, General & Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications and Robotics.

The event is targeted at penultimate and final year students primarily but we also expect a significant number of postgraduates as well as first years seeking information on insight weeks and future opportunities. Attendees will expect to meet with representatives from human resources/graduate recruitment, alumni and business contacts.

Review our main Focused Festivals page for details on what your booking includes, why we've changed our offer.
