King's Population Health Vanguard Series launched on 17 November 2025 with Professor Howard Bauchner. The series explores how we can reimagine and transform population health by embracing systems thinking, fostering innovation, and placing equity at the core of every solution. It is designed to: Illuminate the polycrisis, inspire leadership, foster collaboration, and champion equity.

King's Population Health Institute welcomed Professor Howard Bauchner as the inaugural speaker for the Vanguard Series. His visit on 17-19 November 2025 included a lecture and a recorded conversation with Jim Campbell, Director of Health Workforce Department, World Health Organization.

Professor Howard Bauchner, Professor of Pediatrics and Public Health at Boston University and former Editor-in-Chief of JAMA shares his insights upon decades of working in global health and medical publishing to inform health researchers and professionals in the NHS.

The lecture was attended by various staff and students from King's Health Partners, with some external attendees including local sixth form students.
